Bush
Administration Takes Aim at Wolves
A Bush Administration proposal would allow the slaughter of nearly 600
gray wolves in Greater Yellowstone and Central Idaho – while they're
still on the endangered species list. Both Wyoming and Idaho are
planning to use aerial gunning, as well as baiting and trapping, to
exterminate wolves as early as this winter.
Pets
Alive is a No-Kill Animal Sanctuary which is also the only
retirement home for the NYC Carriage Horses. We are presently doing an
EBay auction to raise funds to care for our critters and could use
donations of items to auction (along with cat food, blankets, bleach
and detergent ALWAYS). If you can help please give us a call at (845)
386-9738 or visit our auction
site. We also need volunteers, foster homes and PERMANENT
homes for dogs and cats. If you love animals give us a call and join
our family. 363 Derby Road, Middletown,

Woman faces jail time in dog abuse case
By Oliver Mackson Times Herald-Record March 31, 2007
I would appreciate it if you could visit the link below
& broadcast this tragic story. I want to let the public see the
horrific crime this woman has committed on this innocent dog, Princess.
All dogs deserve better, what she suffered is incomprehensible
& we need stronger laws for animal cruelty. This horrible woman
should be punished severely & everyone needs to be aware of her
actions & others like her. Neighbors need to come forward
before its too late & not look the other way. I feel Princess
should have & could have been saved if just one person stepped
up to the plate sooner. This woman is one of the most evil people I
have ever heard about. Her actions were deliberate & should not
be treated as a misdemeanor, even one year in prison where she would be
fed & warm is NOT enough. She should endure what she inflicted
on Princess & she should never be allowed to have any animals
again. Please help us get the word out so that justice can be served in
the memory of Princess.
