"The One"
You're on my mind And in my heart How did
I ever find Such a special part The part that you add to my life
Oh, how I yearn For the moment when I never have
to let go Of the one who has turned Turned my darkest points of low
Into the brightest hours of day
May the time come Soon come to pass When
we no longer have to run Running away in a dash To hide from a life
together

"Sprawling Open Like A Flower"
What a beautiful surprise My heart flows with
love Our spirits starts to rise Fluttering like doves As the
evening air lies
Love fills the room As it did when we first
met I feel it deep inside, to my womb As the sun sets
You take me by the hand Together we sink into
space Sharing one unique stance It is the place The only place
where time stands still It is the time we share our love
By Melissa Klein
"Adorned"
Fearing the unknown I knew something had
gone wrong Picking up the phone I stopped to pause, a time too long
The sky was dark The hour too late My
heart felt lifeless, as bark As I sat to wait
The wait was long My heart sank deep to the
south Had I done him wrong Was I too weak to speak my mouth
I laid asleep Waking up to find no one
there I started to weep Tears fell from a blank stare
As water began to cleanse my heart I heard a
knock I looked to see that special part A part of my life, as true as a
rock

"The Crossroads"
I will never forget August third When we
lost the bet Flying apart like two birds
The world stood still I knew I had to let
you go For ahead lie a hard hill If you were mine you'd be back in tow
In my heart I knew You had empty promises to
face Nothing of the new Love would conquer the race
My wounded heart grew Grew to believe in
you You are the one in a few I want as my sweet morning dew
By Melissa Klein
"The Sweetest Days"
Your eyes set like glaze As my heart skipped
a beat I knew you to be in a haze For you had denied defeat
As you lay in my arms I could feel your
aching heart To me it was of no alarm Having once been torn apart
You have been set free To reveal good or bad
God sent you me To let go of what you had
This is your home With arms wide open
May this alone Bring you back

"Embracing Love"
On August sixth I found my love returned
home The feelings were mixed Like the words of this poem
I felt safe in his arms And happy to see his
smile His words were of no alarm As all I had heard prior
I longed for the love The love I had lost
Delivered from above Too precious to be so easily tossed
